Fairy Floss – Worth the Cost!
So on a mini trip to China Town one Friday evening, before my viewing of Mary Poppins at Capital Theatre, I was very eager to check out my friend’s new stand she has open. Now we all know China Town on Friday nights has a lot of things, but one things they don’t have ladies and gentleman and kids, is Fairy Floss!
Fairy Floss is something I haven’t had in years. I haven’t been to the Easter Show for ages as think it’s pretty much the same thing every year. So around where I live, it’s hard to come by Fairy Floss.
So my good friend Alice, a hardworking, bright and very nice young lady has set this up in Chinatown for all of you to take pleasure in on Friday evenings. What could be better for someone to indulge in a sweet treat at the end of the working week? Doesn’t bother me in the least.

So what can you get? Well for only $3, you can get lychee or blueberry flavour fairy floss and it tastes very nice. I munched my way through both flavours, leaving me licking my mouth a lot to absorb the leftover taste it had on me. For those more comfortable having it In a bad, well it’s only $4 so just one more buck to spare.
Come on guys. Your girlfriends will probably be wanting you to go and buy them a special treat and satisfy their sweet tooth. You know girls love sweet things!
So if you’re in town on Friday night, why not stop by and get something sweet for yourself. Alice’s stand is located at the end of Dixon Street in China Town so you can’t miss it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
